In October 2022, Tokyu Railways established Haneda Airport Line Co., Ltd. with Ota City as a joint public- private venture to develop the new line. Going forward, we will pursue more in-depth consideration of the Ya-guchi-no-watashi to Keikyu- Kamata sector as the priority for devel-opment, with the new joint venture at the heart of efforts to commer-cialize the new airport access line.On March 18, 2023, the To-kyu- Shin-yokohama Line between Hiyoshi Station and Shin-yokohama Station opened and through services began operating on the Sotetsu Shin-yokohama Line, which opened the same day. Tokyu Railways and Sagami Railway (So-tetsu) both operate services using the Sotetsu-Tokyu Direct Line, the 10 km or so stretch of track between Hiyoshi Station and Hazawa yokohama-kokudai Station built and owned by the Japan Railway Con-struction, Transport and Technology Agency. The recently opened Sotetsu-Tokyu Direct Line provides a direct link between central Kanagawa Prefecture, western Yokohama City, and central Tokyo, offering through services from Sotetsu lines to the To-yoko and Meguro lines via the To-kyu- Shin-yokohama Line. It has also improved access from Tokyu Sotetsu-Tokyu Direct Line to Shinkansen lines (through Shin-yokoha-ma Station) and forms an extensive regional railway network that encompasses 14 lines across seven operators, including Tokyo Metro’s Namboku and Fu-kutoshin lines, Toei’s Mita Line, Saitama Railway Cor-poration’s Saitama Stadium Line, and Tobu’s Tojo Line. In conjunction with the opening of the Sotetsu-Tokyu Direct Line, we have progressively switched from six- to eight-car trains on the Meguro Line. All trains belonging to Tokyu Railways now operate in an eight-car set, delivering higher quality rail services by Sotetsu and To-kyu- Shin-yokohama Line opening ceremonySeibu-yūrakuchō, Ikebukuro, Sayama LinesSigning ceremony for the agreement on establishing the joint public-private ventureSaitama Railway Saitama Stadium LineTokyo MetroHanzomon LineTokyo Metro Namboku LineToei Mita Line11ShibuyaNew Airport LineAkabane-iwabuchiShinjuku-sanchomeHibiya LineEbisuShirokane-takanawaNaka-meguroMeguroGotandaŌokayamaHatanodaiŌimachiKamataKeikyū KamataHaneda AirportOgawamachiKawagoeWakōshiHannōNishi-TokorozawaTokorozawaJR Line and other linesAzaminoKodomonokuniNagatsutaNakayamaChūō-rinkanFutamata-gawaEbinaShōnandaiTōyoko LineMeguro LineTōkyū Shin-yokohama LineDen-en-toshi LineŌimachi LineIkegami LineTōkyū Tamagawa LineKodomonokuni LineSetagaya LineKotake-mukaiharaNerimaIkebukuroShinjukuShimo-takaidoSangen-jayaFutako-tamagawaJiyūgaokaDen-en-chōfuMizonokuchiTamagawaMusashi-kosugiKikunaNishiyaHazawa yokohama-kokudaiYokohamaMotomachi-ChūkagaiSotetsuShin-yokohamaLineSotetsu Main LineSotetsu Izumino LineTōkyū Shin-yokohama LineHiyoshiShin-tsunashimaShin-yokohamaMinatomirai LineMarch 18, 2023Tōkyū Shin-yokohama Linestarted operation
