▲ Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) support ▲Installation of track equipment monitoring devicesWe plan to install track equipment monitoring devices on the To-yoko, Meguro, To-kyu- Shin-yokohama, and Den-en-toshi lines. Equipping the trains we operate with these devices will enable us to obtain data on the state of the tracks at highly fre-quent intervals, permitting us to gain a highly accurate picture of track deterioration trends, and carry out maintenance at the optimal timing. To facilitate effective use of the data obtained, we are installing the RAMos+® track maintenance system, which can be used by a total of six railway operators: Odakyu Electric Railway, Sagami Railway, Tokyu Railways, Tokyo Metro, Tobu Railway, and JR East. Use of an app shared by all the companies is expected to not only reduce development costs, but also improve maintenance productivity and lead to advanc-es in maintenance technology throughout the rail industry.▲Safety Co-creation Hall programsWe conduct cross-departmental safety training programs based on two key approaches: preventing the recurrence of past accidents and keeping memories of them alive, and fur-ther fostering safety consciousness. These programs cultivate personnel who, through co-creation involving individuals and organizations, become capable of personally taking the initia-tive to increase the level of safety and take the best actions.▲Qualified Care-FitterWe are actively encouraging our staff to obtain the Care-Fitter qualification, which enables them to help people requiring assistance in walking, operating a wheelchair, or otherwise in ● 100% of pedestal toilets equipped with Washlet®*2 ● 100% of hand basins equipped with touch-free ▲Field trial of contactless travel using credit cards tion personnel▲Practical training to cultivate digital transforma-and two-dimensional codessystem enters service3 × 100% goal for station toilets achievedOur efforts to refurbish station toilets at all Tokyu line stations to make them more user-friendly for passen-gers have been completed with the achievement of our 3 × 100% goal. ● 100% of toilet cubicles in Tokyu line stations equipped with pedestal toilets*1electronic bidet seatsautomatic taps*3In our toilet areas, we have also installed osto-mate-compatible (able to be used by people who have had surgery to create an artificial opening for discharging bodily waste) facilities, and baby beds to assist passengers accompanied by children. Improving accessibilityMaking Railways Safer and More Comfortable*1 568 units at 88 stations equipped with toilet facilities (all cubicles also have seat cleaning facilities). There are no station toilets at Ebara-nakanobu Sta-tion, nor on the Setagaya Line (excluding Kamimachi Station) or Kodomo-nokuni Line. *2 Washlet is a registered trademark of TOTO Ltd. *3 Some supplementary hand basins and ostomate facilities in multifunctional toilets are still manually operated. In August 2023, we launched a field trial of contactless travel on Tokyu lines using two-dimensional codes. Passengers who purchase an eligible ticket in advance via the Q SKIP digital ticketing service website can seamlessly board trains without the need to stop at a ticket machine or counter. In May 2024, we embarked on a field trial of a pay-on-exit payment service using contactless payment cards. This service enables passengers to use services on Tokyu lines simply by holding their payment card or smartphone with contactless functionality over the reader on compatible ticket gates, without the need to purchase a ticket beforehand. This system improves safety by achieving greater operational effi-ciency via the visualization of failure risks through the accumulation and analysis of data from track switches and other equipment, en-abling optimal equipment replacement plans to be formulated and failures to be prevented.need of care and to see things from their perspective. In 2023, we introduced cross-departmental practical training aimed at cultivating digital transformation personnel to take charge of duties based on data-driven thinking. Using the busi-ness intelligence tool Tableau, along with machine learning tools and the like, participants systematically learn a set of analytical processes from the design of analytical data to data acquisition, processing, and visualization, and model construction. The aim of the program is to equip them with the ability to apply this knowl-edge to specific operational tasks. We have completed construction of barrier-free routes in all 99 stations. We have installed elevators near exits A6 and B7 at Shibuya Station on the To-yoko and Den-en-toshi Lines. At Sangen-jaya, Komazawa-daigaku and Sakura-shimmachi stations on the Den-en-toshi Line, we have installed additional elevators to serve as a second accessible route.Introducing accessible trainsAs well as ensuring that all trains are equipped with wheelchair spaces, new trains built since FY2016 fea-ture free space in every carriage, enabling wheelchairs, strollers, and luggage to be accommodated more easily. Support for passengers with visual impairments Braille fare tables are provided in all stations. We are also moving forward with the installation of Braille sta-tion guides and acoustic guidance to signal the po-sition of ticket gates and stairs leading to exits, with reference to the Barrier-Free Development Guidelines.9Digital transformation initiativesDeveloping the right mindset and passing on skills to foster safety and good service
