If a train gets closer to the train in front or is traveling on a curved section of track, the system automatically applies the brakes to slow the train to a safe speed, thereby maintaining a high level of safety in underground and busy sections of track. This system automatically applies the brakes to stop the train if it is traveling above the speed designated by a signal, which is set on the basis of the distance from the train in front. To ensure safety, we have also introduced a 60speed limit system specifically for curved sections of track.Using radio communications technology, this system continuously determines train position and speed, ensuring a safe distance is maintained between trains and automatically controlling the brakes to ensure speed limits are not exceeded on curved sections of track and the like. We plan to introduce a CBTC system on the Den-en-toshi Line in FY2028 and on the O-imachi Line in FY2031.Automatic Train Control (ATC) [Installed on the To-yoko, Meguro, To-kyu- Shin-yokohama, Den-en-toshi, O-imachi, and Kodomonokuni lines]Automatic Train Stop (ATS) [Installed on the Ikegami and To-kyu- Tamagawa lines]Brakes Communications-Based Train Control (CBTC) systemBrakes ■ Maintaining distance from the train in front■ On curved sections of trackDirection of travelDirection of travelDirection of travelATC-designated speedDirection of Direction of traveltravelDirection of travelATC-designated speedDirection of Direction of traveltravelATC-designated speedDirection of travelDirection of travelDirection of travelDirection of travelDeceleration patternDeceleration patternLimit of movement authorityLimit of movement authorityLimit of movement authorityTrain in frontTrain in frontMaintains distance from train in frontSpeed restricted until the end of the train enters the straight sectionTrain in frontTrain in frontTrain in frontTrain in front
