The 4G data com-munications service enables video captured by the cam-eras to be viewed even from remote locations, ensuring a swift response in the event of problems on a train.These devices can be used to notify train staff of an-ything abnormal on board or if a passenger is taken ill. They are installed near the connections between carriages, beside windows, and in wheelchair spaces (positions vary according to the train type). These are installed at all railway crossings on Tokyu lines, including our light rail line. Pushing this button in an emergency alerts the driver of the approaching train that there is a problem.Obstacle detection systems use methods such as lasers to detect obstacles like automobiles stuck at level crossings, then notify engineers on approaching trains of such irregularities.
