Shibuya HikarieOpened in April 2012Total floor area: about 144,000 m2This high-rise building com-plex with 34 floors above ground and four basement floors stands on the site that formerly housed the Tokyu Bunkakaikan theater complex and planetarium, which could be described as part of our DNA. The lower floors are home to commercial facilities such as ShinQs, which is operated by Tokyu Department Store, while the upper floors are occupied by offices. The mid-level floors feature cultural facilities, including the musical theater Tokyu Theater Orb, Hikarie Hall, a large event hall sited directly above the station, and 8/ (Hachi), a creative space for exploring new artistic possibilities. Shibuya BridgeOpened in September 2018Total floor area: Building A: 1,280 m2 , Building B: 4,360 m2Located at the end of a footpath along the Shibuya River that leads from Shibuya Stream, this facil-ity includes a nursery school, hotel, office space and shops to address community needs such as reducing the number of children on waiting lists for nursery schools and welcoming overseas visitors to Japan. By blending functions and applications with a different kind of charm from that found right outside the sta-tion and creating a place for a diverse array of highly discerning people to gather, we aim to enhance the accessibility of the area to the south of Shibuya Station and boost the appeal of Greater Shibuya.Shibuya StreamOpened in September 2018Total floor area: about 116,000 m2Shibuya Stream is a large complex built on the former location of the To-yoko Line Shibuya Station plat-form and railway track, which were relocated underground with the opening of the direct train service between the To-yoko Line and the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line. This large-scale complex standing about 180 m high has 35 above-ground floors. The low-rise element features an urban core and has a pedestrian-only deck linked di-rectly to JR Shibuya Station, with public-private footpath development partnerships helping to increase conveni-ence further. The elevated section of the old Toyoko Line Shibuya Station above National Route 246 has been repur-posed as a pedestrian deck. We have used public-private partnerships to regenerate the Shibuya River, which flows past the building’s frontage, developing a plaza and a plant-bedecked footpath some 600 m in length. Thus, we have created a pleasant waterfront space.Shibuya CastOpened in April 2017 Total floor area: about 35,000 m2In addition to rental apartments promot-ing diverse residential styles in the city center, shared office spaces, and a new hub for creative activities, there is also an outdoor public square and common areas where res-idents can gather and interact. This provides a space for group leisure activities that enhances connections among people who play, work and live here.Entertainment City SHIBUYA Within the designated priority development area for urban redevelopment渋谷ソラスタ渋谷ソラスタ渋谷駅桜丘口地区渋谷駅桜丘口地区渋谷フクラス渋谷フクラスMIYASHITA PARKMIYASHITA PARKShibuya 2-chome district 17Opening FY2024 (planned)Shibuya CastShibuya HikarieShibuya Scramble SquareOpened in 2019 & opening in FY2027 (planned)Shibuya StreamShibuya BridgeOpened in 2012 Opened in 2017Opened in 2018Opened in 201817
