Ordinary tickets

Place of sale
The ticket machines at each station sell tickets from that station.
(With a few exceptions, ticket machines also sell connecting tickets for lines operated by other companies.)

Date of sale
On the day of travel only

Times of sale
Between the times of the first and last trains of the day

Validity period
Tickets are valid for the date of issue only. (Round-trip tickets are valid for 2 days, including the date of issue.)

Alighting en route
Alighting en route refers to the practice of alighting from the train and going out of the ticket gate at a station within the zone within which the ticket is valid. With ordinary tickets, if you alight en route and go out through the ticket gate, the ticket becomes invalid for the rest of the zone.

Excess fares
If the fare from the station where you boarded to your destination station is greater than the fare paid on your ticket, you will be required to pay the difference. We will not reimburse passengers in the event that they have purchased a ticket for a higher amount than was actually required.

If you mistakenly purchase a ticket
We can change the ticket to your desired one, so please ask one of the station staff.
There is no handling charge for this service.

Reimbursement
We will reimburse passengers for tickets only if they are presented to us before use, while still within the validity period.
In this situation, there is a handling charge of ¥120 (the handling charge is ¥210 in the case of tickets that connect with lines operated by other companies).

If you have lost your ticket
1. You will be required again to pay the fare from the station where you boarded.
(If you do not know the station where you boarded, you will be charged the fare from the first station on the line.)
2. A re-collection receipt will be issued. If you find the lost ticket within one year, the amount will be refunded, minus the handling charge.

Place of sale
Multiple-trip tickets are sold at ticket machines at each station.

Date of sale
Multiple-trip tickets valid from the date of purchase are sold.

Times of sale
Between the times of the first and last trains of the day.

Validity period
Multiple-trip tickets are valid for three months from the date of purchase.

Fare
The fare is 10 times the cost of the regular fare.

Alighting en route
If you alight en route and go out through the ticket gate at that station, the ticket becomes invalid for the rest of the zone.
We will not reimburse you for the unused portion.

Excess fares
If the fare from the station where you boarded to your destination station is greater than the fare on your multiple-trip ticket, you will be required to pay the difference.
Tickets from multiple-trip tickets cannot be used to cover the excess fare in the event that a passenger has gone further along the Tokyu line than their ordinary ticket or ticket from multiple-trip tickets allows them to.

If you mistakenly purchase a ticket
We can change the ticket to your desired one, so please ask one of the station staff. There is no handling charge for this service.

Reimbursement (of unused tickets)
We will reimburse passengers only for tickets that are still within the validity period, minus the ordinary fare for any used tickets.
In this situation, there is a handling charge of ¥210.

For example, if three tickets from ordinary ¥150 multiple-trip tickets have been used.
¥1,500 – (¥150 x 3 tickets + ¥210) = ¥840

Commuter passes

Types of commuter pass
Worker
commuter pass
If you wish to purchase your pass at the commuter pass sales window, please complete the application form and take it to the window.
If you wish to renew an existing commuter pass (renewing it with no change to the details on the existing pass), there is no need to complete an application form when paying for the renewal.
After specifying the validity period (1, 3 or 6 months), please give your existing commuter pass to the staff member at the window.
You may renew your existing pass 14 days, at the earliest, in advance of the date when the renewed pass will become valid.
However, if your existing commuter pass was purchased from a company other than Tokyu (such as JR or Tokyo Metro), an application form will be required.
Student
commuter pass
If you are purchasing a new student commuter pass, please bring your “student commuter certificate” or “combined student ID and student commuter pass purchase eligibility certificate” to the commuter pass sales window.
However, if you present an old commuter pass purchased within the same academic year, you will not need to present your student commuter ID.
(If you are changing the zone or if you require a student commuter pass with an expiry date after April 30, please bring student ID such as the student commuter certificate issued by your school).

Student commuter passes will be sold for routes with regard to which one of the following is applicable:
(1)The shortest route based on the distance to be travelled
(2)The shortest route based on the travel time (including transfer times)
(3)The cheapest route based on the commuter pass fare

Please note that we cannot sell student commuter passes for routes to which one of the aforementioned three conditions do not apply, even if the fare for those routes is shown when doing a search for commuter pass fares.

How to travel to stations with a commuter pass sales window
Outward journey Please purchase an ordinary ticket to a station with a commuter pass sales window, and then inform the staff member at the station where you are boarding.
When you alight at the station with the commuter pass sales window, please go to the ticket window where there is a staff member, rather than going through the automatic ticket gate.
The fare for the zone that you have just travelled will be reimbursed at the commuter pass sales window.
(If you have travelled on a connecting ticket from a line operated by another company, only the fare for the portion on the Tokyu line will be reimbursed.)
Return journey If you require a ticket to return to your original station, please let the staff member at the commuter pass sales window know.

Validity period
These passes are valid for either 1, 3 or 6 months.

Date of sale
New passes
From 7 days in advance
Renewed passes
From 14 days in advance

Alighting en route
If the station is on the route of your commuter pass, you can alight there.

Excess fares
If you travel outside your commuter pass zone, you will need to pay the normal fare for the distance which you travelled outside your pass zone.

* If less than seven days have passed since the pass became effective, then you will be reimbursed the amount paid for the pass, minus a handling fee and the cost of an ordinary round-trip ticket for that zone multiplied by the number of days for which you used it.

If you lose your pass
If your lost pass is handed in at the station, it will be returned to the station that issued your pass, for safekeeping.
If the customer’s contact details are known, the station will contact you.
If your lost commuter pass is found after you have purchased a new commuter pass, we will reimburse you for the cost of the new pass that you purchased, as long as it is still within the validity period. The amount reimbursed will be the same as in the case of a zone change.
