Please observe the following rules when using trains.

Each train car features priority seats.

These seats are designated as priority seats for elderly passengers, passengers with disabilities, pregnant passengers, and passengers with small children. If any such passengers are present, be sure to allow them priority to sit in these seats.

Signals from wireless devices may adversely affect implantable medical devices. Be sure to turn off smartphones and cell phones when in the vicinity of priority seats when trains are crowded.

Usage of smartphones and cell phones inside trains

Please refrain from talking on smartphones and cell phones inside trains, and set any such devices to vibration or silent mode. Be sure to turn off any such devices when in the vicinity of priority seats when trains are crowded.

Keep noise to a minimum while on trains.

When using headphones, make sure the music cannot be heard by other passengers.

Please observe the following restrictions when carrying baggage on board trains.

  • The total length, width, and height dimensions of any baggage carried on board trains must be within 250cm, and the weight of said items must be within 30kg. Any items over 2m long are prohibited.
  • Items that impede the operation of trains are prohibited.
  • Passengers are allowed up to two carry-on items per person.
  • Folding bicycles must be placed inside bicycle bags.

Small Animals

Please observe the following restrictions when carrying small animals such as dogs, cats, or birds on board trains.

  • Pets must be kept inside containers with a total length, width, and height of 90cm or less, and a total length of 70cm or less.
  • (Containers that allow parts of animals, such as their heads or feet, to stick out are prohibited.)
  • The weight inside said containers must not exceed 10kg.
  • Animals that bother or endanger other passengers are prohibited.

  • Hazardous items, dead bodies, animals (except small animals)
  • Items that may bother other passengers due to odors or uncleanliness
  • Items that may damage the train
 

In the event of an emergency, press the Emergency Train Stop Button or the Security Button.

If you witness an emergency situation, such as a person who has fallen from the platform, press one of the Emergency Train Stop Buttons located on the platform to prevent an accident from occurring.
If you discover a suspicious person, a suspicious item, or any trouble, press one of the Security Buttons located on the platform. An attendant will rush to the scene.
